We have sent you an email today explaining how the changes announced to the Covid-19 Tiers this week by the Government impact upon whether you can play at the Club now or can continue to play at the Club from Saturday 19 December.  Please refer to it.

In summary, you can continue to play from 19 December if you reside in a Tier 3 region of Surrey (Woking, Surrey Heath, Epsom and Ewell, Tandridge, Spelthorne, Runnymede, Elmbridge, Reigate and Banstead, Guildford, Mole Valley)

You cannot continue to play under any circumstances if you reside in a Tier 2 area or a Tier 2 region of a Tier 3 area e.g. the Waverley region of Surrey, regions of Hampshire etc.

If you reside in a different Tier 3 area such as the London borough area already in Tier 3 or an area that goes into Tier 3 on 19 December you can only play if your visit meets the following strict criteria:

The Covid19 restrictions for Tier 3 residents state that they should avoid travel in or out of affected area to participate other than:

– for work or education purposes (e.g. coaches, elite athletes, officials)

– where it is necessary to enable organised/supervised tennis activity for U18s, disability tennis activity, organised education activity or same household/bubble play

You can check which Tier you come under by checking your post code on the following Government web page:

Note that the Club being put into Tier 3 does not change the range of tennis activities that can be undertaken.
